How long does a shoot last?

Usually between 2 to 3 hours but I’m really flexible. I never book more than one shoot a day so we always have as much time as we need.

What should we wear?

Always the best advice is just wear what you love, whatever makes you feel good. Colours and patterns look great and it’s best to avoid top-to-toe black or white.

I hate having my picture taken, can you help?

Yes. You are beautiful. Everyone is. Especially when you are relaxed and happy and unaware of the camera.  I let you be yourself while I just shoot and chat. People are often surprised at how easy and natural it is – much more of a conversation than an ordeal, I promise.

When do I get my pictures?

Once you’ve placed your order I get onto my suppliers and you will have your pictures within days (for prints and digital files) a couple of weeks (for frames and canvases) and about a month (for albums and coffee-table books). I’ve worked hard to find reliable, quality suppliers who really deliver their promises.

Can I have them quicker?

Yes, most of my suppliers do a rush job for a small extra cost. If you have a birthday or event deadline in mind just let me know when you book. I haven’t missed a deadline yet!

Can I see the album design before it goes to print?

Yes, I will design the album and show it to you online so you can make any changes you want. I never send it off until you are completely happy.

Can we have a traditional family shot for granny?

Of course! Granny must have her family portrait! Your session is all about you, so I always ensure that I get any particular pictures you want. I really love creating family shots that are a little bit different, that sum up the true personality of your family.

Do you travel beyond London and Surrey?

My standard rates cover travel up to a 50 mile radius of central London but for a small travel fee I am very happy to travel anywhere in the UK (or abroad!).

What do I do if my child is ill?

No problem at all, we can simply reschedule for whenever you wish. Just give me as much notice as you can.

Do you do kids parties?

Yes, I LOVE them. Something about the chaos and madness really appeals. Plus I love all those candid, delighted expressions, not to mention the hilarious costumes. To see some examples, have a look at my Kid’s Party portfolio.
